Can I reconstitute my paste?

Last updated on 09 Oct, 2023

From time-to-time, your paste (ointment) may become drier, or the consistency is too thick.

In this case, you can carefully and precisely reconstitute, or improve the consistency. We recommend wearing nitrile or latex gloves when doing so.

To achieve best results, substitute distilled water for vegetable glycerin.

Follow these directions:

  • Carefully take the paste out of the jar and into a larger bowl or container for mixing.

  • Add only a sprinkle (few drops) of distilled water to the paste at a time.

  • Mix slowly and consistently before adding any more liquid.

  • Ensure that you have mixed the paste into a desired consistency.

  • Carefully clean all surfaces and yourself after returning the paste to it's jar.

The ingredients in our formula will maintain efficacy, granted that too much distilled water or vegetable glycerin has not be added.
